Paramonov Mansion
It will be about the former mansion of Nikolai Paramonov. Now it is the zonal library of the SFU on Pushkinskaya Street. Nikolai Paramonov is the son of the famous merchant Elpidifor Paramonov, who owned mills, steamships, grain warehouses (now the famous "Paramonov warehouses"). The building was built in 1914 according to the project of Eberg. The Paramonov mansion was built, as they say, according to the latest technology and fashion of that time. A legend is alive in Rostov, which has long been overgrown with a lot of speculation and personal fantasies. Legend has it that Nikolai Paramonov built this mansion for his mistress, and according to another version for his daughter. However, the mansion did not last long for its owners — exactly four years.
During the Civil War, a rather funny situation happens with this mansion. In late February — early March 1918, the mansion houses the headquarters of the Rostov-Nakhichevan Revolutionary Committee, in fact, the headquarters of the Red Army in Rostov. And a few months later , the headquarters of Bel was located in the same building
